We are a warm and welcoming Christian community in the heart of the Surrey countryside. Rooted in tradition and open to all, our two churches—St John the Baptist in Okewood and Holy Trinity in Forest Green—form a vibrant parish dedicated to worship, fellowship, and serving others in Jesus’ name.
Whether you're a long-time resident, new to the area, or just passing through, we invite you to join us in worship, prayer, and community life.
Safeguarding
The Parish of Okewood and Forest Green is committed to the safeguarding, care and nurture of everyone within our church community — especially children, young people, and adults at risk.
We follow the Church of England’s House of Bishops’ Promoting a Safer Church policy and adhere to the safeguarding policies and procedures of the Diocese of Guildford. We aim to create a safe and welcoming environment where all can worship and grow in faith with confidence.

Our
Story
Our Parish Community
The Parish of Okewood and Forest Green is made up of two historic churches serving a rural yet active community. In July 2025, we began a new chapter, forming our own parish.
We are part of the Deanery of Dorking in the Diocese of Guildford, and our mission is simple: to grow in faith, serve our neighbours, and share God’s love.
Support Our Parish
Your support helps us continue our mission of spreading love and hope in the community.
Our two churches, Holy Trinity, Forest Green and St John the Baptist, Okewood, are each supported by their own independent charities, The Friends of Okewood and Friends of Forest Green. These charities help to maintain our beautiful church buildings and support the life and mission of the parish.
Together, they enable us to serve our local community, offer worship, and care for these historic places for generations to come.
